DEV 7286, 7387 & 6087 RF over Fiber System for Wireless Audio
The DEV 7286, DEV 7387 and DEV 6087 desktop RF over fiber system extends wireless microphone, in-ear monitor and other professional wireless-audio signals over single-mode fiber. Designed for plug-and-play operation, the standalone system supports optical transmission distances up to 1 km and provides high linearity across the 450-960 MHz link frequency range.
The DEV 7286 CWDM transmitter converts RF signals to optical signals, while the DEV 7387 receiver restores them at the remote location. The DEV 6087 desktop amplifier provides 33 dB of gain for applications requiring additional RF output level. A high-input-level transmitter option accommodates aggregate input power up to +17 dBm.
Nine CWDM wavelengths allow multiple wireless-audio signals to share fiber infrastructure. Available 50 Ohm and 75 Ohm RF interfaces, LC/APC or LC/PC optical connectors, RF monitoring ports and overtemperature protection provide flexible deployment in broadcast, live-event, production and installed-audio systems.
