The DEV 7162 EDFA Optribution Distribution Booster Amplifier amplifies and distributes one DWDM optical input to eight optical outputs. Designed for long-distance RF over fiber systems, it combines high optical gain, a low noise figure and integrated 1:8 distribution in a managed 1 RU chassis.

Automatic Output Power Control provides adjustable output from -12 to +8 dBm in 1 dB steps. Optical input and output monitoring, front-panel status LEDs, redundant power supplies, the DEV Web Interface and SNMP support reliable operation in professional optical RF networks.
