DEV 7163 Dual 1:8 EDFA Optical Distribution Booster Amplifier
The DEV 7163 EDFA Optribution Distribution Booster Amplifier integrates two independent 1:8 optical amplification and distribution channels within a single 1 RU chassis. It accepts two DWDM optical inputs and provides two groups of eight amplified outputs, delivering 16 outputs in total.
Each EDFA channel supports Automatic Output Power Control with adjustment from -12 to +8 dBm in 1 dB steps. Optical power monitoring, front-panel alarms, redundant power supplies, the DEV Web Interface and SNMP provide centralized management for high-capacity RF over fiber networks.
