DEV 1984 ARCHIMEDES 8to40ty L-Band Matrix Switch, up to 8x40
The DEV 1984 ARCHIMEDES 8to40ty L-Band Matrix Switch provides flexible any-input-to-any-output signal routing for up to eight inputs and 40 outputs within a compact 19-inch, 2 RU chassis. It is designed for satellite ground stations, teleports, broadcast facilities and other RF systems requiring reliable distribution of L-band signals to numerous destinations.
The DEV 1984 operates across the extended 850-2450 MHz frequency range. Standard systems use 75 Ohm precision F female connectors, while modular input and output options support 50 Ohm SMA, 50/75 Ohm BNC and single-mode optical inputs. The field-upgradeable DEV 1984/8x40U can be expanded from 8x20 to 8x40 as system requirements grow.
Adjustable gain, RF sensing, a graphical local interface, redundant power supplies, SNMP and the DEV Web Interface provide comprehensive system control. Optional capabilities include variable slope, LNB powering, a dedicated monitoring port, an integrated spectrum analyzer, secure path locking and automatic input-channel redundancy.
