DEV 1400 Modular RF Switching System, DC to 18 GHz
The DEV 1400 RF Switching System is a flexible, modular platform for redundancy switching, signal combining, signal distribution and multiplexing or demultiplexing across frequencies from DC to 18 GHz. Its compact 19-inch, 3 RU chassis accommodates one or two individually configured RF modules.
Available modules include n+1 and n+2 redundancy switches, combining matrices, distributing matrices and 1:n de-/multiplexers. Matrix modules are offered for C-, CX-, X- and Ku-band applications, while selected redundancy-switch and de-/multiplexer modules cover the complete DC-18 GHz range.
The DEV 1400 provides redundant AC power supplies for increased system availability. Ethernet, the DEV Web Interface, SNMP and an RS-232 serial connection support centralized monitoring and control. Modules are individually configured and manufactured to meet application-specific RF switching requirements.
