The Quintech RPS1845FAB000 (RPS 18/4.5) is a 2 RU redundant RF power supply designed to provide centralized +18 VDC power for as many as 16 LNAs, LNBs, upconverters, downconverters or line amplifiers. Sixteen independent RF paths operate from 270 to 2150 MHz, allowing RF signals and DC power to pass through the same 75-ohm Type F connections.

Two separately fused, drawer-mounted power supply modules provide redundant operation and allow straightforward module replacement. An RS-422 summary alarm monitors both supplies, while rear-panel green LEDs indicate the power status of each channel.

Each port includes an automatically resetting circuit breaker that limits current to 900 mA. If a connected load exceeds this limit, the affected port shuts down until its current demand falls below the trip point. The combined load across all 16 ports must not exceed 4.5 A.
